Our client is a European multinational company manufacturing metal packaging for industrial and consumer products. For their business growth and penetration in the US market, we are looking for the GENERAL MANAGER for their new facility located in West Virginia.

Mission:

Reporting to the Headquarters, the General Manager will oversee the company operations providing the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure operational effectiveness. 

The candidate will be responsible for Company Governance and will ensure compliance with US laws. The GM will be executing and delivering the Guidelines of the Headquarters; Supervising the operation’s activities (manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, customer service, etc.) accomplishing the service level needed for customers and the quality needed by the market, in cooperation with the HQs and the Commercial Director; Supervising effectiveness of operations.

Main requirements and qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Engineering; MBA is highly desired.

- Extensive experience in Manufacturing and Operations management

- Past experience gained at manufacturing companies, preferably in the metalworking industry

- Proven track record improving productivity and profitability throughout operations with leading-edge

  management practices

- Fluent in English and Italian

- Results-oriented capabilities

- Excellent leadership and resources management capability (blue and white collars)

- Very good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. 

- Availability to travel domestically and internationally


Location:

Weirton, WV.
