Client Overview:

As a well known business, our client is in search of a Key Account Manager to lead the expansion of their presence here in the US. 

The Role:

  • Contribute in setting and developing strategic sales objectives. 
  • Execute the development and implementation of business/sales plans, with quarterly updating to maximize revenues and profit and securing the budgeted targets and KPI’s. 
  • Develop customer base with new key accounts and further develop excellent relationships with existing customers, by carrying out all duties with high levels of customer satisfaction. 
  • Support organizational involvement in all its networks and activities, including but not limited to, attending exhibitions and conferences, coordinating business development and sales activities.  
  • Attend relevant events to stay current with the market, understand customer needs, understand the competition and report back to Executives as needed. 
  • Identify new business opportunities to be brought in, as broader solutions to the sales team.  
  • Be willing and open to travel within the country and abroad, when needed. 
  • Update all needed information, create and update orders in company internal systems in cooperation with global teams. 
  • Fully responsible for projects by making efficient communication with suppliers and customers for inquiries, sampling, orders, production & deliveries. 
  • Coordinating the activities of the US team.


  • Sales/business development/key account management experience.  
  • Experience within luxury fashion and cosmetics industry.
  • +10 years of experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Technical competencies:  

  • Understanding of Luxury Clients/Markets and their dynamics (how to communicate and interact with the clientele).
  • Ability to develop business relationships with customers/suppliers. 
  • Able to handle multiple projects. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and identify troubleshoot, and resolve issues. 
  • Computer skills including MS Office Suite incl. Outlook and Video Conferencing tools. Knowledge of any ERP, CRM and/or Project Management software will be preferred. 

Soft skills: 

  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skill, verbally and in writing, capable to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. 
  • Demonstrate success in working in a multicultural environment.
  • Commitment and passion.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills. 
  • Easy to work alone in a start-up phase, with an entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
