Our client is a global player in the electrification and automation market. To assist them in their continued growth in the US market, we have been called on to assist them in identifying a Quality Engineer to support their local business.
Job Overview
The main mission of the Quality Engineer is to oversee PPM control. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring Process quality index, and Implementation of the quality management system in accordance with the reference standards, the objectives of the company and the needs of the customer.
Job Description
- Ensures that all personnel are properly trained on work instructions
- Validates the process and the means of production and establishes compliance with the customer's needs
- Ensures that the quality system documentation complies with the reference standard, with the customer's needs and in line with the guidelines of the parent company
- Develop effective methods for dealing with internal non conformances, customer complaints and supplier problems
- Coordinates the planning, organization and evaluation of the effectiveness of training actions and any other needs that arise
- Plan, prepare, implement documents for internal and external audits, ensure follow-up of effectiveness and closure of corrective action
- Analyzes and ensures the processing of data relating to process monitoring and measurement
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- BS degree in Engineering, or relevant field
- Aptitude for Team Working
- Key attributes of Flexibility, Adaptability, and Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Knowledge of MS Office package
- ISO 9000 experience is a plus
- Knowledge of production control tools and methods.
Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration.
