Our client is a multinational global leader in the power transmission business. To aid in their company growth, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Mid- West region of the United States.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Outside sales with focus on new business and new opportunities with existing customers.  
  • Actively contribute to the development and diffusion of the company's product range among customers.
  • Constant interfacing with all company functions and home base. 
  • Collaborate in product margin analysis. 
  • Periodic internal reporting to management and to the home base. 
  • Observing and identifying customers, their sector, product positioning and communication policies shared with Business Development management. 
  • Continuous updating of one's knowledge, constantly improvements of sales techniques and the extensiveness of application of company products.
  • Travel 70% in Mid-West area.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5-10 years of outside sales experience with gear reducers, gear motors , and electric motors. 
  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) outside sales experience required.  
  • Capability to explain and present detailed technical information to customer engineering. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred - not required.  
  • Application experience in various industrial sectors preferred.   
  • Experience using SAP is preferred. 
  • Experience with use of Office package in particular Excel.  
  • Outside sales travel experience.

Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration.
